The application process for the Call for Nominations for the 2026 World Internet Conference Leading Technology Awards and the Call for Practice Cases of "Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace" has been officially initiated. The solicitation is open to relevant institutions, enterprises, universities, research institutes, and teams at home and abroad that meet the application requirements.

I. World Internet Conference Leading Technology Award

The award accepts applications in three categories: Basic Research, Key Technologies, and Engineering R&D. Please submit your application materials via https://awards.wicinternet.org/ by 24:00 June 15, 2026 (Beijing Time).Approximately 15–20 winning projects will be selected and publicly announced during the Wuzhen Summit. About 60 outstanding achievements will be included in the publication The Charm of Science and Technology.

II. Call for Practical Cases

Cases shall fall under one of the five fields: Development of Cyber Infrastructure, Online Cultural Exchanges, Innovative Development of the Digital Economy, Cybersecurity Assurance, and International Governance of Cyberspace, and involve two or more countries/regions. Please submit your application materials via the same website by 24:00 June 15, 2026 (Beijing Time).About 60 excellent cases will be selected for the case collection, and around 12 featured cases will be unveiled at the Summit.
